Support & FAQ

What to Watch: movies and shows by your taste, with where to stream them

Where does the rating come from?

It is the TMDB (The Movie Database) user rating, not IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes.

How is streaming availability checked?

Availability comes from TMDB for the United States. It is not checked against your own subscriptions, so a title may also be available elsewhere.

Where are my lists saved?

Watchlist and Watched are saved only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Does it need internet?

Yes. Movies and ratings load live from TMDB, so searching needs a connection.
